SWIM India motivates communities and promotes local skills to develop, install and manage water security plans. We also work to integrate water security measures like water conservation, rainwater harvesting and water safety. Some instances of our work on water safety are  Community level meetings to discuss water issues. 

Water testing toolkits are used and training community leaders Mobilize communities and strengthen institutions including health care centres, schools, colleges, anganwadis and so on

Engaged with relevant departments and technical support at the local levels in urban and rural communities. Partnerships with local NGOs  Free ‘safe water drops’ distribution in hospitals in rural areas. We focus in integrating hygiene promotion as part of the work carried out by community leaders Key Impact: Together we are making a big difference.

With support from governments, other NGOs and local people, we work every day to improve people’s access to clean water  500 New safe water Community leaders trained in FY 2019-2020. 10 top administrative level leaders appointed, Supply and delivering team of 20 leaders formed. Quality control and microscope expert of 20 leaders trained 

Productions and packaging team in four states formed SWIM team added with 10 new leaders in Raipur, 6 in Ranchi , 5 in Jamshedpur, 3 in Odisha, 5 in Bihar, 4 in Madhya Pradesh
