SWIM organized a hands-on training workshop for youth, equipping them with practical solutions to ensure safe drinking water at home. A total of 40 young individuals were trained. Additionally, a water safety awareness seminar was conducted for residents of slum areas and Banjara communities in Faridabad, Haryana.

In Chhattisgarh, SWIM led initiatives to raise awareness about water safety, bringing together 50 community leaders and NGO partners from 15 districts and villages of Raipur. A remarkable 500 women participated, many of whom have since adopted water treatment and safe storage practices in their communities.

Recognizing the high TDS levels and water hardness in Punjab, SWIM introduced portable water treatment techniques that enable households to access safe drinking water daily.

In Delhi’s Mahipalpur slum, SWIM has been actively working with 500 underprivileged and uneducated families, demonstrating the presence of living bacteria in water using a digital microscope, fostering awareness about the importance of clean water.

Safe Drinking Water Initiatives

• Promoting water-saving techniques for washing clothes, cleaning homes, rinsing vegetables, and car washing.

• Encouraging the reuse of wastewater for secondary purposes to minimize water wastage.

Sanitation and Hygiene Initiatives

• Conducted cleanliness and household hygiene training programs in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, promoting better sanitation practices.

• Organized a women's health and hygiene awareness campaign in Ranchi, Jharkhand, led by experts to educate women’s groups on essential hygiene practices.

• Focused on child health and food safety, ensuring awareness of proper nutrition and sanitation for a healthier future.
